Stay Positive

Think PositiveAs noted, thinking positive is easier said than done.  It can be hard to keep a positive, upbeat attitude when things look bleak.  But, it can be done.

This involves actually rewiring your brain.  Consciously work at changing your thinking.  Banish any negative thoughts and fears.

When you wake up each day, tell yourself, out loud if necessary, “Today is going to be a wonderful day.  Wonderful things are going to happen today.” And, go forward with your day really believing that.

Keep a cheerful disposition.  Avoid becoming sullen.  Put a smile on your face, even if it is contrived and forced.  Do it even if you don’t feel like it.

Some refer to this as “Fake it till you make it.”  And it really works.

Reframe the situation.  This is not a catastrophe.  It is an opportunity.

This could very well be the Universe opening a door for you, a door you have been afraid to open yourself due to fear of letting go of what you thought was a solid handhold.

Your future is wide open before you.  Write it the way you want.
