Be persistent. Don’t get discouraged. If a door doesn’t open up the way you had in mind, take it as the Universe telling you there is another way you should go. Keep trying doors until the right one opens.
Consider this account regarding the apostle Paul.
Acts 16:6-9 – “Moreover, they went through Phrygia and the country of Galatia, because they were forbidden by the holy spirit to speak the word in the district of Asia. Further, when getting down to Mysia they made efforts to go into Bithynia, but the spirit of Jesus did not permit them. So they passed Mysia by and came down to Troas. And during the night a vision appeared to Paul: a certain Macedonian man was standing and entreating him and saying: ‘Step over into Macedonia and help us.’”
Paul intended to engage in the ministry. But, where?
The first door he tried was Phrygia. No go. Then he tried Bithynia. That door did not open as well. Then he walked to Troas–400 miles! Once in Troas then it was made clear to him the direction to take.
If you have not found the door that opens yet, perhaps you have not yet walked 400 miles.
